Roxanne Wolanczyk, LCSW

Is the Director of Cognitive NYC.

Roxanne seeks to create a warm and respectful environment for clients while effectively addressing their concerns. Roxanne has three years of postgraduate training in cognitive therapy, a Master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College, and an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. She served on the Executive Committee of the Women’s Mental Health Consortium for six years and remains on the Board of Directors. Roxanne is also a native New Yorker and understands many of the unique issues faced in this city.

Carmela DiSalvo, LCSWCarmela DiSalvo, LCSW

Is a staff therapist at Cognitive NYC. 

Carmela will provide you with an empathetic yet direct approach that facilitates self-understanding and goal achievement. Carmela received training in cognitive therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz. Through her work in a variety of settings including hospitals and mental health clinics, Carmela has a particular interest in working with trauma.
