Work related stress

Most American workers say they are stressed out at work. Stress impacts our ability to optimally function both at work and home, and negatively impacts our overall health and sense of well-being. CBT is effective at treating the anxiety, depression and anger, which one may experience connected to work.

Some common work related issues I work with are:

  • Dissatisfaction with work
  • Unemployment or job search anxiety
  • Difficulty coping with work-load
  • Poor work-life balance

In therapy, I will help you identify the thoughts and beliefs that are leading to your poor mood, and we will explore healthy alternatives. You will leave therapy with concrete cognitive, and behavioral skills to utilize in managing work related stress.
