About My Practice

I am a New York State licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist based in Manhattan. In my practice I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a type of talk therapy that emphasizes the central role of cognitions in mental health. 

The CBT process is collaborative, present-focused, and tailored to the goals that you would like to meet. I will listen to your concerns without judgment, and teach you skills to utilize towards meeting your goals, coping with stress, and experiencing improved mood and outlook. About Me:

I earned my undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute, and my Master’s degree from Hunter College School of Social Work. I received post-graduate training from two world-renowned cognitive therapy institutes — Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research, and The Albert Ellis Institute. I have years of experience doing therapy, both in community based mental health agencies (Henry Street Settlement, Educational Alliance), and in private practice. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and the Women’s Mental Health Consortium.

I am a native New Yorker, and have a broad understanding of issues particular to New Yorkers across cultural, and socio-economic-status.
